Distinguished VFX Practitioners to be Recognized at Exclusive Celebration  

The Visual Effects Society said it plans to recognize FotoKem Chief Strategy Officer Mike Brodersen, VFX supervisor Michael Fink, and former member of VES leadership Susan Thurmond O’Neal with special awards at a reception in October.

The Visual Effects Society (VES), the industry’s global professional honorary society, announced the 2019 inductees into the VES Hall of Fame, the newest Lifetime and Honorary members and this year’s recipient of the VES Founders Award 

The Visual Effects Society (VES) announced Thursday it will induct three new members to its VES Hall of Fame in a ceremony in October - Stan Lee, Walt Disney and Stanley Kubrick.

The Visual Effects Society will induct three luminaries into the VES Hall of Fame--Walt Disney, Stanley Kubrick and Stan Lee. 

Lee, Walt Disney and Stanley Kubrick will be posthumously inducted into the VES Hall of Fame, as VFX pros Susan Thurmond O’Neal, Michael Fink and Mike Brodersen receive VES honors this Fall.

“Avengers: Infinity War,” which is predicted to win the Oscar for Best Visual Effects, swept the Visual Effects Society Awards on Feb. 5.
