Virginia Bowman

Virginia Bowman is the CEO and Founder of Synergetic Media, an Alpharetta, Georgia marketing agency that applies Hollywood production discipline to brand strategy, cinematic video, and AI-powered marketing for growing businesses.

Before founding SYM, Virginia spent nearly a decade in feature film visual effects at Sony Pictures Imageworks as a Senior Technical Director and Look Development Lead, working on Stuart Little, Stuart Little II, Cast Away, Hollow Man, The Matrix Reloaded, and 2012. She subsequently taught Visual Effects and Animation Pipeline at the Savannah College of Art and Design for nearly a decade.

Virginia is the author of Illuminated Pixels: The Why, What, and How of Digital Lighting (Cengage Learning, published as Virginia Bowman Wissler), endorsed by Rob Bredow, SVP of Creative Innovation at Lucasfilm.
