Tomonori Horie

I am the founder of XOR Inc. in Tokyo, a VFX studio specializing in compositing for TV and web commercials, music videos, large-scale visuals, and films. Working in a small but dedicated team, I approach each project with care and attention, aiming to deliver the highest quality while adapting to client needs.
As an active VFX artist, I handle compositing, online editing, VFX supervision, and occasional CG creation. I am particularly skilled in photorealistic compositing of live-action footage, and I enjoy exploring new techniques, including AI-assisted workflows, to continually expand the possibilities of visual effects.

Role with the VES

As a new VES member, I hope to actively contribute to the visual effects community by sharing knowledge and collaborating with fellow artists. I aim to serve as a bridge between the Japanese and international VFX industries, promoting exchange of techniques, workflows, and creative ideas. Through VES, I look forward to further developing my own expertise while supporting the creation and global recognition of innovative, high-quality work from Japan.
