Selim Ari

Selim Ari is a Senior 3D Motion Designer, Creative Partner, and Co-Owner of Add And Blur Studio, working across product visualization, brand films, broadcast design, and art-directed 3D motion. With 13+ years of professional experience, his practice focuses on translating technical ideas, product stories, and brand messages into clear, cinematic visual systems for global campaigns.

He has delivered 3D motion, product CGI, look development, compositing, and final render work for brands and teams including Google, Microsoft, PayPal, Bose, Emirates, TD Bank, Spectrum TV, RTL, NPO, NG Voice, Zarbee's, and WeArt. His work spans hardware launches, technical product storytelling, broadcast-ready motion assets, event visuals, and campaign systems designed to perform across digital, social, presentation, and large-screen environments.

Selim leads projects from early visual direction and look development through animation, rendering, finishing, and delivery. His process combines hands-on Cinema 4D and Redshift production with a strong focus on pipeline discipline, material realism, lighting, visual clarity, and scalable execution for demanding creative teams.

Alongside his studio work, Selim serves as a jury member at the Motion Design Awards, where he evaluates international motion design submissions across concept, design, motion, and execution quality. He is also a member of the Visual Effects Society, bringing a product-focused CGI and motion design perspective to the wider VFX and visual production community.
