Ross Shain
I am a creative technologist and product designer with deep experience in visual effects, post-production, and imaging technology. In my career, I’ve evangelized creative software tools and SaaS services as a product owner, creative marketer, and as a strategic partnership advocate.
In some circles, I was known as the designer and evangelist of Mocha Pro — a powerful tracking tool used on the world’s most iconic tv shows and films. For this work I have been recognized with Academy and Emmy Technology Awards, as well as a Lumiere Award from the Advanced Imaging Society. 😊
Today, I work as a consultant, offering fractional marketing (fCMO), strategy, and creative services to companies that develop tools for Media & Entertainment. I also enjoy keeping my compositing skills sharp and stay on top of the latest with Gen AI.
