In 1998, with the support of Tim Sarnoff, Rob was recruited by Sony Pictures Imageworks , where he served for many years as Compositor, Effects Animator, Lighter, Previs Animator and ultimately Character Effects TD.
In 2014, Rob began freelancing at studios such as Framestore, MPC, The Mill, Digital Domain, and again at Sony. He joined DreamWorks Feature Animation in 2018, and began freelancing again in 2024.
