Rahil Sanghani

Short Intro for me, I am Roto Paint Lead in the visual effects world, currently based in Vancouver, Canada. I’ve spent over eight years bringing shots to life cleaning, crafting, and problem-solving my way through everything from complicated paint fixes to big cinematic moments.

I currently lead teams at Sony Pictures Imageworks, where I’m known for staying calm under pressure, keeping workflows sharp, and helping artists level up. I enjoy the mix of technical precision and creativity that Roto/Paint/Comp demands there’s something satisfying about taking a messy shot and making it look effortless. Whether it’s chasing pixel-perfect edges, untangling tricky sequences, or finding smoother ways to work, I like making the invisible work shine. And at the end of the day, I’m just someone who loves being part of the process that turns imagination into something audiences can actually see.

Outside the studio, you’ll usually find me exploring new places, working on fitness, watching films, or diving into anything tech and creative. I like keeping life curious, balanced, and always moving forward.
