Rachel Garcia-Dunn
Rachel Garcia-Dunn is an award winning photographer, cinematographer and VFX artist with decades of experience.
She started as a commercial photographer, using cutting edge digital tools for an international clientele in New York, then England, then Los Angeles.
Early in her career, she joined Digital Domain, where she did pioneering vfx work on some notable feature films, in addition to making significant contributions to the design and function of Nuke, the composting software which has become a fundamental tool for the vfx industry.
After a few years, Rachel wanted to get back behind the lens, and so she combined all of her talents in to a 20 year career in cinematography, where her creative aesthetic and ingenuity help to create a distinctive look and mood for every project, using cutting edge camera and post production tools.
Through it all, Rachel has continued to create, exhibit and sell her unique brand of abstract artwork, which can be seen at PixAeon.Art
