Peter Gagnon

I’m a VFX Supervisor, ICVFX Supervisor, and Director specializing in the intersection of live-action filmmaking, visual effects, and virtual production. I thrive in complex productions where creative ambition, technical execution, and real-world constraints collide; and where clarity, calm leadership, and smart workflows make the difference between chaos and a great film.

My strength lies in bridging departments: translating creative intent into practical VFX solutions, aligning directors, DoPs, production, and post, and designing workflows that save time, money, and pain; without sacrificing quality. I’m equally at home on set, in post, and deep in the pipeline.

I’ve worked across feature films, high-end television, streaming, and branded content, contributing to projects for Marvel, Netflix, Apple+, and Sesame Workshop, and I continue to expand my work in virtual production and Unreal Engine–based workflows.
