Peter Denomme

Pete Denomme, Executive Producer/CEO Switch VFX & Animation humble beginnings were as a classically trained animator worked in Detroit Michigan. This background preceded his move to Toronto where he took on the role of Production Manager for the feature film Ferngully the Last Rainforest.

Gaining valuable experience he moved on to run the digital studio at Calibre Digital Pictures.

More than 30 years later, 11 as Co-Founder of Yowza Digital, 10 years as President/ Executive Producer at Alliance Atlantis vfx/animation division, 30+ features and 60+ television credits later Pete continues to develop a full slate of intellectual properties and co-productions.

A firm believer in nurturing new talent and giving back Pete has established Visual Effects and Animation Scholarships at six Canadian colleges and has invested his time and talent in the educational platform The Animation Lounge to allow students and professionals alike to enhance their skills working in a real studio environment.

An active member of VES Toronto and former board member of Visual Effects Society, Vice President of CASO – Computer Animation Studios of Ontario plus a member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, National Academy of Media Arts & Sciences (NAMAS) and the Alliance for Children and Television (ACT).
