Kevin Kutchaver
I started my career in VFX animating Light Sabers in Return of the Jedi for Peter Kuran's company VCE, almost 40years ago.
Continued animating on Ghostbusters II, both Addams Family films, all three Robocop movies and Star Trek IV: The Undiscovered Country, to name just a few.
On my own, I ventured into defining a digital desktop solutions for the syndicated TV series Babylon 5 for Warner Bros. Television.
In 1995, I formed Flat Earth Productions, Inc. with partners Doug Beswick and Kevin O'Neil. That company's 6 year run with Hercules and Xena once again helped raise the bar for television effects. Mythical beasts and flying weapons routinely topped a 100 shots per episode. Feature work on films like Mortal Kombat II, Blade and Dungeons and Dragons followed.
In 2001 I formed HimAnI Productions, Inc. We worked on a variety of projects including both live-action Scooby-Doo movies, Hellboy, Shoot Em' Up, Across The Universe and continued TV series work with Alias and Lost.
I have wrapped being the senior VFX artist on the television show The Flash, ending in it's 9th Season.
I am the co-founder (with Linda Drake) of Sheer Force Of Will developing scripts animation and film projects.
