Jao M'Changama

Jao M’Changama is a seasoned VFX Supervisor, Creative Director, and Director renowned in the visual effects industry. Born and raised in Paris, Jao pursued his passion for visual arts at the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD), where he earned a Master’s degree in Animation in 2008. His career began as a freelance director and 2D animation specialist, crafting captivating music videos and educational animations for French TV and scientific organizations.

In 2012, Jao joined Mikros / The Mill / The Mill , a Paris based VFX and post-production studio, where he supervised visual effects for prominent international brands including Ubisoft, Dior, and L’Oréal. His expertise expanded over nine years, collaborating with notable directors and agencies, guiding projects from conceptualization through post-production.

In 2021, Jao co-founded BISOU, taking on the role of VFX Supervisor and Creative Director. He spearheaded major projects, notably overseeing the VFX for "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon," earning him the prestigious Genie Award. Jao's visionary approach and leadership have also contributed to successful advertising campaigns for Amazon, Mercedes, and Nike.

With a keen eye for detail and a creative flair, Jao continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, working closely with creative teams to bring ambitious projects to life. Fluent in English and French, he remains a vital force in the VFX industry, driving innovation and excellence.
