Daniel Abramovici
Daniel Abramovici is a creative leader in animation, visual effects, and immersive storytelling. Most recently, he served as Co-Executive Producer and CG Supervisor at Nickelodeon Animation Studio.
Previously, at 21st Century Fox’s Blue Sky Studios, he played a key role in shaping the Ice Age franchise and films like Rio and The Peanuts Movie. With over a decade of experience in stereoscopic filmmaking, 3D innovation, and location-based entertainment, he led the development of 4D rides that expanded the Ice Age brand globally. He also helped conceptualize a virtual production pipeline and prototype VR applications, earning multiple patents for his innovations.
A sought-after speaker, Daniel has presented at SIGGRAPH, FMX, and Annecy, sharing insights on emerging technologies. Passionate about education, he has been an adjunct professor at SVA and led workshops on stereoscopic 360 filmmaking.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a supervising compositor and VFX artist, collaborating with filmmakers Charlie Kaufman and Jim Jarmusch.
Beyond his cinematic work, Daniel is an accomplished painter and illustrator, with exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, Austin, and Toronto.
