Carlos Vilchis

Carlos Vilchis is a creative technologist and educator specializing in real-time graphics, digital humans, and virtual production. With a PhD in Computer Science, his research has focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence and real-time rendering for next-generation media pipelines. He is a recipient of an Epic MegaGrant and a collaborative Emmy Award winner for his engineering contributions at ILM. Carlos has played a key role in building the Latin American virtual production ecosystem through education, consulting, and industry events. He currently leads initiatives that bridge technology, storytelling, and production across global markets.
