Christopher Weinberg

Christopher Weinberg is a stop-motion visual effects specialist, motion control developer, and founder of LIMNMEDIA, an independent technology and education initiative focused on hybrid filmmaking workflows, practical visual effects integration, and accessible production tools for stop-motion animation.

With over 15 years of experience in feature film and television production, Christopher has contributed to projects spanning stop-motion animation, compositing, miniature integration, and hybrid CG workflows. His background includes work at LAIKA and ShadowMachine, where he specialized in visual effects integration for stop-motion productions.

Christopher is currently leading the development of LIMNMOCO, a tabletop-scale motion control crane platform designed specifically for stop-motion and hybrid VFX cinematography. He is also the creator of the Three Point System (TPS), a standardized methodology for stop-motion camera alignment, multi-pass compositing, and practical-to-digital integration. His ongoing work combines cinematography, engineering, lens calibration, and open-source pipeline development to help lower technical barriers for independent filmmakers, students, and emerging studios.
