Christa Tazzeo

With long standing roots in visual effects and postproduction Christa partners with filmmakers to deliver creative driven solutions for the screen.  

Her esteemed credits include the Academy Award winning feature SPOTLIGHT (Open Road Films), and the Emmy Award winning television series’ GAME OF THRONES (HBO) and THE HANDMAID’S TALE (Hulu). Additional TV credits cover Rian Johnson’s POKER FACE (Peacock), Tim Burton’s WEDNESDAY (Netflix), Jason Mamoa’s historical drama CHIEF OF WAR (Apple) and the upcoming IT:WELCOME TO DERRY from Director Andy Muschietti for HBO. Features include, Marvel Alum, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s directed FREAKY TALES (eOne), Rachel Morrison’s THE FIRE INSIDE (Amazon MGM) and DC’s SUICIDE SQUAD (d. David Ayer).  

A founding board member and past Chair of the Visual Effects Society (VES) Toronto, a fellow member of Women in Film and TV (WIFT), Christa is an active participant in the Toronto Film and TV production community. Engaging with several boards, she holds a publicly appointed seat on the City of Toronto Film, Television and Digital Media Board, and the Ontario Creates’ Industry Advisory Council.
