Avital Shalev

Avital Shalev was born in Israel and attended the UCLA Film School. She has over 20 years of Post-Production experience serving as Scheduler, Coordinator, DI Producer, Finishing Producer to now, in her current role as Director of Creative Services and VFX Producer at DigitalFilm Tree (DFT). Shalev is also a Group Facilitator, working with groups of at-risk children and youth, adults and kids with disabilities, using filmmaking as dialogue for growth and development. Previously Shalev worked as Producer at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque Educational Department. In that role, she handled development and construction of educational programs and content for children, youth, educators and academic institutions.
