Asdrubal Huitzilihuitl Rivera Acevedo
Asdrúbal Rivera is a producer and COO at Sísmica Studio, a boutique VFX, CGI, animation and post-production studio based in Mexico City. With over 15 years of experience in the creative and entertainment industries, he works across advertising, film, animation and international co-productions, helping connect creative ambition with practical production strategy.
At Sísmica, Asdrúbal leads operations, production strategy, client relationships and business development, with a focus on building sustainable workflows for VFX supervision, CGI, animation production support and post-production services. His work involves collaborating with directors, producers, agencies and studios in Mexico, Latin America, the United States and Europe.
He is particularly interested in strengthening Mexico’s role within the global VFX and animation ecosystem, developing international partnerships, and creating production models that combine high-quality creative work, technical reliability and cost-efficient execution.

I oversee project strategy, production planning, sales, client communication, team coordination, and the development of sustainable workflows for film, advertising, animation, and branded content.

As Producer and Commercial Director, I helped position Sísmica Studio within the Mexican creative and production industry, building alliances with agencies, studios, producers, directors, and international partners. I produced studio projects, strengthened the company’s culture, developed client relationships, and contributed to Sísmica’s growth into a boutique studio with international reach.
