Amy Young

I have retired from working in the theatre and film industry for over 40 years. I am a graduate of the drama program at the College of Marin and had a Fellowship in Stage Management at the  American Conservatory Theater. I am also a Journeyman member of IATSE Local #16. I have worked in numerous positions at many leading entertainment and cultural organizations, such as Industrial Light & Magic, Disney, and San Francisco Opera. I have specialized in Stage Management, Event Coordinating, and Pyrotechnics and also served with the California State Fire Marshal as a Stunt and Special Effects Safety Officer.

From 2002 - 2012, I produced a drama program for the Larkspur School District. From 2013 - 2022, I served as the Operations Manager and Event Coordinator for The Space Station Museum and Novato Space Festival and served on the Board of Directors. I am a member of the Rebel Legion Endor Base, currently serving on the Command Staff as Event Coordinator.

I'm still a busy Mom guiding my two adult children. Always hoping they will launch soon!
