Alessio Bertotti
Alessio set his sight on a career in VFX early on, attending the Polytechnic University of Turin and graduating in Graphic & Virtual Design, followed by a master program in Computer Graphics at the Virtual Reality & Multimedia Park of Turin and completing a master at Escape Studios London, specializing in Compositing for VFX.
He started working in video editing and graphic, then as a 3D artist, moving to motion graphics, matte painting and compositing. Alessio has gained extensive experience in over 30 different studios in various cities; London, New York, Sydney, Barcelona, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Sofia and Stockholm to name just a few. By working in such a wide variety of studios, in a variety of roles, from artist to supervisor, he had the chance to gain an in-depth understanding of team leadership, pipeline structures and client relations.Alessio has extensive experience in on-set supervision for VFX for films, commercials and music videos.
In 2019 Alessio co-founded Alps Studios in Turin, Italy.
Most recently he supervised the shooting of an action feature film with over 700 VFX shots for which Alps Studios is also the main vendor.
Nowadays, Alessio's main focus is supervision client side, both on-set and in the studio. He enjoys seeing a project through from the early pre-production stages until the final VFX delivery.
