Work Experience
Department of Education, Legend 3D, Kendall-Jackson Family Enterprises, Splunk, VISA, Cisco, my own XR startup which won the Lumiere for "Best Live-Action VR in 2018, Facebook / Meta / Oculus, Tata/TCS, and Amazon, and startup MetaSoul. The latter is focused on on where cognitive artificial intelligence meets emotional intelligence and emotional reasoning, and where the AI can be embodied in 2D, 3D, volumetrically, metaverse, vehicles, and humanoid machines. These AIs can emulate characters, develop their own personalities, learn, adapt, and can understand human emotions (speech, facial expressions, and bodily gestures). In parallel, they can respond with natural and contextually appropriate responses. They can function across the full gamut of human emotions, which are 64 trillion permutations, every 1/10th of a second, in real-time, with no perceptible latency. GDPR and HIPPA compliant, cloud-first, and fully tech platform and LLM agnostic.https://www.linkedin.com/in/alejandrofranceschi/
Skills & Titles
Unreal Engine Fellow, Virtual Production, Spring, 2021Awards
Emmy as a Creative Director for series TV for children, with a Silver & Bronze Telly, Aurora, and an International Platinum Ava for sameLumiere, 2018, "Best Live Action VR" for "Rose Colored," one of the first narrative 360 short films ever made, in the style of "Black Mirror." The tech did not exist for in-camera or software-based stitching, so there is a lot I really dislike about it, but, besides the Lumiere, it got similar recognition by Sotheby's, Christie's, TriBeca Film Festival, & Cannes Int'l Film Festival.
