Try your hand at doing a miniature shoot; a sample set up with a couple cameras for you to see how different a simple set can become in camera\, and professionals on hand for you to ask questions  both for technique and for production considerations.  How about archery?  Yes\, that’s right\, you’ll have the opportunity to shoot arrows on one of the stages with a trained stunt professional giving you pointers or lessons.  Ever wonder how they shape foam core or make molds?  Want to play with facial motion capture? Let’s just say there are plenty of hands-on activities\, eye candy\, and information- And its not just about the practicals – its also about the integration with CG. \nFonco has procured additional parking with the church next door\, so there is plenty of parking.  The entrance to the lot is on Arvia St. immediately on the right hand side. \n  \nSung Sam Korean Catholic Mission \n1230 N San Fernando Rd. \nLos Angeles\, CA 90065 \n[map] \n  \nFonco plans to have Blue Moon on tap\, along with a mixologist to provide something beyond the wine and beer we normally have at “Cool Things”.  And of course there will be some nibbles.  Hey\, its Friday night\, and what a great way to wrap up the week! \n  \nThe one caveat?  WE NEED YOUR NAME ON THE LIST!  It is better to RSVP even if you are not sure if you are going to make it.  If your guest is coming separately\, you MUST provide their name.  You can switch out a guest’s name if they arrive with the VES Member\, but any non-member guest who arrives without a member CANNOT BE ADMITTED.  There will be security and enforcement to ensure this\, so please RSVP TODAY!  RSVPs will close Thursday night. He was the only American soldier in WWII to fight on the front lines without carrying a weapon  as he believed that while the war was justified\, killing was nevertheless wrong. As an army medic he single-handedly evacuated the wounded from behind enemy lines\, braved fire while tending to soldiers and was wounded by a grenade and hit by snipers.
