VES-LA has started PUB NIGHTS where we will meet up at different bars\, lounges or clubs throughout the LA area. Each time will be a different “must see” place- a perfect opportunity to check out that place you keep hearing about\, or discover an awesome hidden jewel you didn’t know existed!  It’s an informal get together\, so you can bring your friends\, co-workers or Sig-Other\, but there will always be at least one or two board members present in case you want to have a cocktail-napkin-meeting. :)  \n  \nStart your week off with a little 70’s throwback  and a secret entrance with our PUB NIGHT on July 18th at Good Times at Davy Wayne’s.  After showing ID\, you may wonder why you were pointed to a funky garage sale.  Walk like a pro straight to the refrigerator and open the “secret door” to the lounge.  To distinguish ourselves from the usual patrons we will be giving out flashing VES pins to VES members.  Just walk up to anyone with a flashing pin and let them know you are a member and to point you to the person giving them out (like how we gave you a conversation starter there?  You’re welcome.).  Or if you want to just skip all conversation with strangers and you know Lopsie\, look for her in the patio area wearing her flashing pin and ordering a drink from the airstream trailer or some food from the BBQ to get your flashing pin. \n  \nSee you there\, and keep an eye out for another PUB NIGHT coming up later this month again\, with another secret entrance!
