DESCRIPTION:VES Bay Area members are invited to a special evening visit to the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment in Old Town Oakland on November 16th.  \n \nThe MADE is an unique hands-on museum and arcade that presents a living history of the video game industry. \nFor over a decade\, the MADE has sought to legitimize the preservation of video games as an historic\, cultural\, and artistic medium within the context of our time. Visitors have access to play any of our over 14\,000 games across 40+ systems. On December 4 from 7pm-10pm we would like to welcome all members from around the world who are gathered in Tokyo to join us at Megalis after the second day of the conference. The studio is located about 20 minutes by train or 10 minutes by taxi from the Tokyo International Forum where Siggraph Asia is held. \nThe VES membership in Japan continues to grow and is now over 50 this year. That\, combined with the first Oscars awarded to a Japanese VFX studio in 2024\, has created a lot of excitement in the VFX community. Please come join us to spend time with your fellow members from Japan and around the world.
