SUMMARY:Special Screening-Mary Queen of Scots-Wellington
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of Focus Features and ANZ distributor Universal Pictures we’re delighted to invite you and your guest to an advance industry screening of \n\n \n\n When: Sunday 16th December \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Time: 10am start \n\n Location: Roxy Cinema\, 5 Park Road\, Miramar\, Wellington\n \n \n \n\n									 \n\n RSVP is essential:RSVP HERE (invitation is strictly non-transferable) \n \n\n								 \n\n To view the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnqjSgMU36U\n\n								 \n \n\n Synopsis: Mary Queen of Scots explores the turbulent life of Mary Stuart (Saoirse Ronan). Queen of France at 16 and widowed at 18\, Mary defies pressure to remarry. Instead\, she returns to her native Scotland to reclaim her rightful throne. Upon her return\, Elizabeth I (Margot Robbie) is England’s Protestant Queen\, but Mary is a Catholic.  Rivals in power and in love\, and female monarchs in a masculine world\, the two must decide how to play the game of marriage versus independence. Determined to rule as much more than a figurehead\, Mary asserts her claim to the English throne\, threatening Elizabeth’s sovereignty. Betrayal\, rebellion\, and conspiracies within each court imperil both thrones – and change the course of history.\n\n							 \n\n Directed by Josie Rourke\, the screenplay is by Beau Willimon\, based on the book Queen of Scots: The True Life of Mary Stuart by John Guy. Producers are Tim Bevan\, Eric Fellner and Debra Hayward.\n\n							 \n\n Duration: 124 minutes \n\n							 \n\n Universal Pictures is releasing the film nationally on 17 January 2019.\n\n							 \n\n							 \n \n \n \n \n \n\n
