VES NY is proud to debut our new series, a dedicated forum for the region’s premier VFX vendors to showcase groundbreaking work and novel techniques. The goal is to share knowledge, inspire great work, and connect VES members, students and graduates with great companies.

For this inaugural event, we are thrilled to host Angus Kneale, Chief Creative of Preymaker, for an exclusive deep dive into the design and processes behind their Super Bowl XL campaign for Kinder Bueno, “Yes Bueno.”

A tour de force of CGI animation, the spot features Aliens with chameleon tongues, Astronaut babies floating in zero gravity, an out of control space ship navigating asteroid belts, an animated Black Hole sequence bending the fabric of Space-Time, Astronauts going through parallel Multi-verses, and Gravitational Gradient inspired “Spaghettification,” all crammed into 30 seconds of cosmic chaos and fun for advertising’s biggest event… Super Bowl XL. Angus will share an overview of proprietary technologies along with how the team utilized A.I. as a tool to maximize creativity.

The evening has dedicated time for Q&A, and encourages discussion about the work and how industry leaders think about creating VFX in a rapidly changing industry. Please join us!
