Industrial Light & Magic, VES, and PGA invite you to an Author Talk with ILM alum, author, storyteller, and visual effects producer Corey Rosen on Thursday, February 12, at 5pm in Dagobah Theater! This will be a conversational evening exploring how storytelling shapes creative work, collaboration, and communication.
The workshop will take place from 5 – 6pm, followed by a reception and book signing in Javva the Hutt from 6 – 7pm. Books will be available for purchase during the event, and parking/access information will be shared with attendees the week of the event.
Please RSVP by Friday, February 6.
Drawing from his new book, A Story for Everything, Corey shares practical storytelling tools used in filmmaking, leadership, pitching, feedback, and problem-solving, along with stories from his work across film, VFX, and live storytelling events such as The Moth.
Hosted in conversation with Lucasfilm’s Daniel Cavey, this session blends discussion, examples, and audience participation to explore how stories help teams align, build trust, and navigate complexity in creative environments.
Hope to see you there!
